Scent of Quiet
This series is a meditation on the healing presence of herbs. Each work is created with pigments, washes, and sometimes tea itself, carrying the quiet fragrance of lavender, rosemary, sage, and other plants. Herbs are more than forms on paper—they are part of my daily rituals: a cup of warm tea, the calming trace of essential oils, the lather of handmade herbal soap.
The paintings are layered like memory, but they are also infused with lived experience: the act of drinking, inhaling, and touching herbs as part of slow living. The series bridges art and life, suggesting that healing can be found in ordinary rituals and in the delicate beauty of plants.
Beyond paintings, this series extends into handmade herbal soaps and small crafted products that continue the same philosophy—objects carrying the quiet essence of herbs into daily life. It is about living gently, surrounded by the scents and textures of nature, where art and ritual flow into each other.
